Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead projects for the discipline and the project team, demonstrating personal input to commission wins or successful delivery.
  • •Provide design and technical advice with a multidisciplinary approach within a joint leadership ME(P) discipline team.
  • •Supervise the completion of detailed designs and the work of others in this function.
  • •Direct feasibility studies for projects and assess discipline feasibility in relation to overall delivery.
  • •Produce detailed and performance specifications for the discipline subject to review by colleagues.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng/Bsc/MEng in applicable engineering discipline; CIBSE / IET / Engineering Council accredited honours degree or specific experience that will lead to Chartership.
  • •Working towards I Eng or C Eng status.
  • •RevitMEP training applied to the discipline; experience with Revit MEP and 3D design software.
  • •UK project experience within Building Services MEP; understanding of UK/European regulations applicable to the discipline.
  • •Proven ability to oversee production of detailed and performance specifications; ability to supervise detailed designs and allocate work.
