Job Summary

Serve as the site technical lead to support production within the Food Safety Management System (FSMS). You’ll manage site quality performance, lead root cause analysis and CAPA activities, review non-conformance and audit findings, and drive continuous improvement through data, training, and SOP updates. Partner with suppliers, ensure batch release procedure compliance, support validation protocol execution, and perform HACCP/GMP audits while keeping Food Safety Plans aligned with plant changes.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as technical lead for the site, supporting production with corrective and preventative actions within the FSMS.
•Manage and monitor site quality performance, including root cause analysis and corrective actions to ensure QMS compliance.
•Assist investigations and CAPA activities, including review of non-conformance reports, failure investigations, and audit findings; recommend corrective actions.
•Prepare and analyze metrics for EM, CAPA, and supplier performance to drive continuous improvement.
•Ensure compliance with batch release procedures, support validation protocol execution, and perform HACCP/GMP and other quality and compliance audits.

Salary: USD 70,000 - 104,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (science/engineering/food processing, etc.).
•2–4+ years’ experience/knowledge of food manufacturing, HACCP, FSMA regulations, and related requirements such as low acid food and infant formula (aseptic processing preferred).
•Become proficient with Optiva and GLIMS and other systems.
•Initial concept of HACCP/Food Safety principles; PCQI certification is a plus.
•Effective communication skills and ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with strong data analysis and statistical/problem-solving skills.
