Key Responsibilities

•Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed and achieve best possible outcomes.
•Plan engaging, curriculum-aligned sessions for the full ability range and create an engaging classroom learning environment.
•Observe and assess children in line with school assessments, taking responsibility for class progress and using Target Tracker to record development.
•Manage classes effectively in line with the school’s behaviour policy and act decisively when necessary.
•Work with parents and the wider school community, communicate achievements/well-being (e.g., CPOMS), support events/outings, and run a weekly ECA each term.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
•Minimum 1-2 years teaching experience.
•Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
•A commitment to educating the whole child, professionalism, and the well-being of children.
•A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
