Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed and achieve best possible outcomes.
  • •Plan engaging, curriculum-aligned sessions for the full ability range and create an engaging classroom learning environment.
  • •Observe and assess children in line with school assessments, taking responsibility for class progress and using Target Tracker to record development.
  • •Manage classes effectively in line with the school’s behaviour policy and act decisively when necessary.
  • •Work with parents and the wider school community, communicate achievements/well-being (e.g., CPOMS), support events/outings, and run a weekly ECA each term.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
  • •Minimum 1-2 years teaching experience.
  • •Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
  • •A commitment to educating the whole child, professionalism, and the well-being of children.
  • •A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
