Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle in compliance with applicable transportation laws, routes, traffic laws, and all safety regulations.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely, maneuvering truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and following loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading and unloading using specialized equipment, including unloading empty skids and returning equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain and deliver required documentation (invoices, shipping bills of lading, and paperwork) to the appropriate office or staff.
  • •Facilitate routine service on trucks (e.g., checking oil/water/gasoline/air), report maintenance malfunctions, and arrange trailers in shipping yards.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or a chauffeur’s license, appropriate for the vehicle weight you will operate.
  • •Pass required background and drug testing, and complete a DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs).
  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
  • •Must meet physical requirements including prolonged sitting in a trailer cab and lifting/moving up to 40 pounds; be able to travel frequently.
