Job Summary

Coordinate skilled trades and lead safe crane and rigging work across the site to maximize reliability and cost efficiency for plant partners. Plan, review, coordinate, and authorize lift activities, including creating/reviewing 3D lift plans, running pre-lift meetings, and verifying crane setup and rigging compliance. Manage daily work prioritization, resource allocation, documentation retention, equipment readiness, audits, and coaching to ensure full maintenance compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as SME for crane, equipment, and rigging tasks, coordinating Diamond and contractor trades.
•Review job packages, assist with resource allocation, and initiate work permit procedures as necessary.
•Plan and authorize safe crane and rigging activities, including creating/reviewing 3D lift plans and coordinating approvals with civil engineering and operations leadership.
•Verify crane setup and rigging compliance, conduct pre-lift meetings, and authorize lifts to proceed.
•Track daily work progress, reassign work when equipment isn’t ready, close work orders, perform field/shop audits, ensure compliance, and coach tradespersons on correct completion of procedures and checklists.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED equivalent.
•4+ years of relevant experience.
•NCCCO or NCCER certification, or currently pursuing certifications.
•Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed and follow the required schedule.
•Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain one.
