Key Responsibilities

•Strategic patent portfolio management including interfacing with business leaders on IP matters, preparing and prosecuting patent applications, and due diligence.
•Overseeing in-house patent drafting and prosecution and guiding external counsel.
•Collaborating with engineers and technical teams to identify, evaluate, and protect innovations.
•Managing IP risk and product clearance analyses, and supporting M&A due diligence.
•Serving as a trusted strategic advisor to business leaders and aligning IP strategies with organizational objectives.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 190,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of relevant experience or Graduate Degree (Masters or above) with 5+ years of relevant experience – Required
•Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office – Required
•Background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, computer science/software and/or medical devices – Required
•At least 5-10 years of experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications with a law firm or corporation, including drafting patent applications in coordination with inventors – Required
•Experience in managing patent portfolios, as in-house or law firm patent counsel – Required
