•Coordinate: Oversee multidisciplinary teams of engineers and technicians, ensuring seamless collaboration across drainage, structures, and environmental disciplines.
•Innovate: Apply the latest standards including DMURS, Cycle Design Manual, and TII Publications to create safe, people-focused transport solutions.
•Engage: Work directly with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders, guiding them through technical challenges and statutory approval processes (Part 8 / ABP / SID / EIA).
•Mentor: Support and coach junior engineers, contributing to AECOM’s culture of growth and continuous learning.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
•Significant experience in road, urban, or Active Travel infrastructure design.
•Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and manage project delivery.
•Working knowledge of Irish transport standards: TII Publications, DMURS, DMRB, SRW/MCHW, and Cycle Design Manual.
•Experience with statutory planning and design approvals in Ireland.
