Support developmental testing within the research and development line by operating processing and test equipment and using metrology tools. Follow work instructions and interpret task documents, ensuring scheduled tests are completed with proper sample acquisition, testing, and data entry. Perform basic analytics to validate tool operation, communicate abnormal findings immediately, and work under daily supervision while adhering to safety and housekeeping standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Support developmental tests in the research and development line.
•Operate and/or execute process steps using processing equipment, manual processing, test equipment, and metrology tools.
•Ensure scheduled tests are complete, including sample acquiring, testing, and data entry.
•Communicate immediately any abnormal findings on the product or testing equipment.
•Work under daily supervision by following standard procedures and written instructions, and suggest continuous improvements for productivity, safety, or performance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 17.84 - 25 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of relevant technical experience in a manufacturing or lab environment, or 1 year as an Engineering Test Support I at First Solar.
•Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions and test plans.
•Average ability to use processing equipment and operating tools (including robots, conveyors, and human/machine interfaces).
•Ability to repetitively handle glass coupons, plates, and finished modules.
•Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Teams) and ability to run JMP scripts and analyze simple datasets using JMP and SQL after training.
