Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as liaison between the company and contracted growers, providing technical guidance on building/equipment specs, litter manipulation, sanitation, biosecurity, and policies.
  • •Evaluate farm and flock conditions against company, regulatory, and legal guidelines; recommend resolutions and follow up for compliance.
  • •Track, compile, analyze, and record flock data such as bird weight, mortality rates, flock completion rates, and egg production.
  • •Monitor assigned flocks for conditions and ensure producers comply with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and laws for poultry handling.
  • •Oversee vaccination program adherence and maintain feed tank inventories by ordering feed and coordinating timely deliveries.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree in Poultry Science or Agricultural Science is preferred.
  • •Minimum two (2) years of live poultry experience in a similar environment.
  • •Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to animal welfare and food production.
  • •Ability to identify noncompliance and provide consultative recommendations to growers on farm/flock conditions.
  • •Strong computer and math skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
