Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and support supplier process improvements in machining, welding, and quality management systems.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and improve standards and quality control procedures.
  • •Participate in supplier audits and ensure compliance with Applied Materials’ quality standards.
  • •Plan and execute supplier-related improvement projects, managing schedules, milestones, and risk registers.
  • •Attend engineering/quality governance meetings, track action items, and report progress, KPIs, and risks to leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •Minimum 7 years of experience in supplier quality engineering, machining/welding process control, or manufacturing quality systems.
  • •Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and conduct detailed DWG reviews.
  • •Proficiency with quality and problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Is/Is Not) and statistical analysis tools (e.g., JMP).
  • •Knowledge of quality management systems, supplier audits, and display-side process kit/equipment documentation (e.g., PQP/PFMEA).
