Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform electrical studies, including protective relaying, power system planning studies, and design studies for power systems and facilities
  • •Integrate and support SCADA and system protection activities, including relay settings and arc flash analysis with NERC compliance
  • •Conduct steady-state and stability analysis and automate batch simulations, including outage and generation interconnect feasibility studies
  • •Design and configure networking/communications and logic/control schemes for RTUs, protective relays, meters, HMIs, and PLC-based equipment, including troubleshooting and commissioning
  • •Write technical reports and assist with risk identification, work plan preparation, field/site coordination, permitting, and training

Key Requirements

  • •BSEE (BS Electrical Engineering), BSEET (BS Electrical Engineering Technology), or BSCE (BS Computer Engineering) degree from an ABET-accredited university
  • •3-5 years of industry experience performing design or device configuration in related technical disciplines
  • •Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate
  • •Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and their application to permitting and project work
  • •Strong interpersonal and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
