Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute as a full-stack engineer across UI, API, service, and database layers for Insurance Remittance capabilities in Trellis.
  • •Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions supporting remittance visibility and accelerated insurance payment posting.
  • •Build summary/detail views and guided workflows that help practice staff understand and post incoming insurance funds.
  • •Participate in architecture and design discussions, evaluating tradeoffs and translating technical direction into maintainable implementations.
  • •Deliver roadmap priorities with ownership of assigned work, ensuring code quality, automated testing, technical documentation, and best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong full-stack development across frontend, backend, services, and database layers.
  • •Experience operating at a Staff-level capacity, contributing meaningfully to architecture and technical design discussions across application layers.
  • •Strong proficiency in TypeScript across the stack, with ReactJS for modern frontend development.
  • •Experience building backend APIs using Fastify and Zod (or comparable TypeScript framework/validation libraries).
  • •Experience with AWS and ECS-based service architectures; healthcare/RCM/insurance remittance/ERA experience is strongly preferred.
