Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and provide daily support to the welding team.
  • •Assist the supervisor with coaching, mentoring, and training team members and contractors.
  • •Complete welding assignments and procedures on time, safely, and professionally for site structural stands (construction and repair).
  • •Coordinate work with support groups including flight control, other fabrication/civil organizations, and engineering.
  • •Analyze engineering drawings/specifications to plan welding operations when procedural information is unavailable and ensure weld procedure/material/rod size details are communicated to contractors.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •7+ years of experience with at least one of SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, or FCAW (college welding program experience qualifies).
  • •Experience as a combo welder with ability to fabricate and weld carbon structure, carbon pipe, and stainless pipe.
  • •Knowledge of standard tools, materials, motions, and practices of the welding trade.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
