Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement material flow strategies from receipt to the lineside, including reverse logistics and value stream mapping for end-to-end optimization.
  • •Develop conceptual and detailed factory/warehouse layouts for material flow and storage, including space capacity modeling to hit inventory targets.
  • •Build materials management resource plans using lean principles, including labor/equipment models and time studies to track improvements.
  • •Create cost-effective, sustainable packaging and rack flow solutions, working with vendors and internal teams to deliver right-sized packaging fleets.
  • •Use Excel, Tableau, and SQL to analyze material flow metrics, support decision-making, and ensure safety through risk assessments, audits, and training.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or another engineering discipline.
  • •2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •2+ years in an engineering role working directly on material flow engineering solutions.
  • •Demonstrated leadership driving projects in an industrial environment.
  • •Experience with layout design in AutoCAD or similar, building warehouse and manufacturing lineside layouts.
