•Work under the direction and general supervision of the Senior Inspector or Project Manager
•Review drawings, specifications and contract requirements to understand/prepare for inspection, and to ensure good construction practices, clarity, and consistency
•Consult with Contractor’s Superintendent on work progress and maintenance issues; review equipment utilization data and time/cost estimates
•Review and monitor for acceptable traffic control setup, erosion control devices, and maintenance thereof, utility coordination/resolution and conformance to contract requirements
•Maintain thorough and accurate inspection records of construction to document compliance with contract requirements

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 40.87 - 45.67 hourly

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma plus 6+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
•Valid driver's license
•Knowledge of inspection methods, procedures, and techniques
•Ability to read and interpret construction plans, contract specifications/requirements and inspection procedures
•Understand engineering, surveying, and construction terminology, practices, & procedures
