Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as first point of contact for global customers on-site and provide technical direction to internal teams and skilled labor.
  • •Safely accomplish installation, maintenance, and repair of aeroderivative turbines, including mechanical and hydraulic maintenance, repair, and replacement of parts.
  • •Execute hands-on site duties using hand tools and small power tools, including sub-contractor coordination and customer/internal communication.
  • •Troubleshoot complicated mechanical and hydraulic problems on variable pitch/variable speed turbines and advise on technical solutions in customer/contractor meetings.
  • •Oversee, overhaul, troubleshoot, and commission aeroderivative products at customer sites while ensuring EHS compliance and keeping training and quality documentation current.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of work as a mechanical technician on aircraft engines, aero-derivative engines, or turbine technology (preferred LM series; expertise on Level 2-4 inspections).
  • •Extensive experience performing advanced site maintenance activities on AERO engines (e.g., hot section replacement, top case).
  • •Good working knowledge of installation and maintenance of rotating equipment, including bolting, hydraulic bolting, flange management, and small bore piping.
  • •Experience in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar), with strong customer service orientation.
  • •Deep awareness of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance; good English knowledge; available to travel globally 70% of the time (EU passport or European work permit).
