Key Responsibilities

•Provide data collection, compilation, and analysis from on-site observations, surveys, GIS data, subsurface utilities, and hydrologic analyses for project development, design, and construction.
•Apply highway engineering design principles to identify improvements across project phases including alternatives analysis, preliminary engineering, final design, construction, and operation.
•Develop highway construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates and coordinate project-specific plan development.
•Involve themselves from project inception to completion in managing design of infrastructure projects, including rehabilitation, reconstruction, grading, drainage, and phasing.
•Oversee cross-functional teams of engineers, planners, and scientists to execute project work, manage budgets, track hours/expenses, and ensure QA/QC.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
•7+ years of relevant post-education experience in transportation and highway design.
•Pennsylvania Professional Engineer’s license.
•Proficient with highway engineering principles, practices, processes, and permitting.
•Experience with transportation planning, highway design, and construction consultation, including rehabilitation, reconstruction, and new design projects.
