Job Summary

Lead and govern fire and life safety functions to ensure regulatory compliance and safe development aligned with Civil Defense requirements and the Saudi Building Code. Own strategy and governance frameworks, oversee the full lifecycle of approvals and readiness for final inspections, and manage resource allocation. Drive risk-based, performance-based processes, handle escalations with stakeholders, and implement digitized permitting and automation to improve efficiency, traceability, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

•Define strategy and operating model for fire and life safety functions.
•Establish governance frameworks, policies, and internal decision-making protocols.
•Align fire and life safety practices with Civil Defence and the Saudi Building Code.
•Oversee the full lifecycle of fire and life safety approvals (reviews, inspections, licenses, certificates, NOCs).
•Lead implementation of digital permitting platforms and automation tools, including risk-based screening and fast-track mechanisms.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
•8–10 years of progressive experience in fire and life safety engineering, regulatory compliance, or fire code enforcement.
•At least 3–5 years in a leadership/managerial capacity related to fire and life safety.
•In-depth knowledge of Civil Defense requirements, the Saudi Building Code (SBC), and international fire safety standards (e.g., NFPA, IBC).
•Experience leading or contributing to digital permitting platforms, automation tools, or process digitization initiatives.
