Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive security architecture for NVIDIA Networking firmware, including trust boundaries, privilege separation, device identity/key storage, secure boot, and secure update/anti-rollback flows.
  • •Perform threat modeling for firmware and embedded subsystems across NVIDIA Networking products.
  • •Analyze firmware and hardware/firmware interactions to identify security weaknesses across boot flows, privileged execution environments, and host/network-facing interfaces.
  • •Define security features and mitigations across the device lifecycle (provisioning, attestation, debug authorization, runtime hardening, field updates) and guide engineering implementation.
  • •Translate threat models into security requirements and review designs and implementations against those requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Academic degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • •5+ years of experience in product security, firmware security, or security research with hands-on embedded/firmware codebases.
  • •Experience defining security policy models, including authorization schemes, RBAC, and administrative role separation with production enforcement.
  • •Familiarity with applied cryptography such as secure boot, code signing, and attestation, plus threat modeling and mitigation techniques.
  • •Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an evolving environment with strong communication skills.
