Job Summary

Design and develop customized single-use assemblies for biopharma customers, translating requirements into manufacturable solutions. Create and maintain 2D/3D drawings and prototypes using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, evaluate designs for functionality and compliance, and select/validate components through testing. Perform feasibility studies, cost estimations, and pricing calculations, maintain BOM/MOM documentation in ERP systems, and support manufacturing, quality, and customer visits with occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop approval drawings and prototypes for single-use assemblies.
•Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks (or similar CAD software).
•Evaluate designs for functionality, manufacturability, and compliance with customer requirements; select and validate components through testing and analysis.
•Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimations, and pricing calculations; maintain BOMs and MOM documentation in the ERP system.
•Collaborate with Sales, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams, and support manufacturing/quality with engineering expertise (including occasional travel for customer visits).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Operational Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
•Minimum 3-5 years of experience in design engineering, manufacturing, or a technical engineering environment.
•Strong 2D and 3D design experience using AutoCAD and SolidWorks (or similar CAD software).
•Experience working with ERP systems such as Epicor (or similar).
•Ability to read, understand, and evaluate technical drawings and specifications, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
