Job Summary

Provide first-line managed networking services to keep client IT infrastructure operational. Monitor systems, proactively detect incidents, investigate and troubleshoot assigned L1 incidents to root cause, and fulfill approved requests using documented procedures. Execute maintenance activities such as patching and configuration changes, follow shift handover processes, report/escalate issues, and maintain or update knowledge articles. Support disaster recovery functions and contribute to optimization and automation efforts as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor client infrastructure and solutions.
•Identify problems/errors early and help reduce incidents through proactive prevention and avoidance of common issues.
•Investigate first-line incidents to identify root causes and ensure efficient incident and request resolution.
•Fulfil approved requests and execute approved maintenance activities such as patching and configuration changes.
•Provide telephonic/chat support when required, follow shift handover procedures, and report/escalate incidents; update/create knowledge articles and support disaster recovery functions and tests.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
•CCNA or equivalent certification.
•Entry-level experience or completion of the relevant intern program.
•Entry-level experience troubleshooting and supporting network/data center/systems/storage administration and monitoring services in a medium to large ICT organization.
•Basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and supported technical domain products (e.g., Network, Data Centre, Telephony, Exchange, Storage, Cloud, Backup).
