Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the security target-state architecture and multi-year roadmap, aligning risk reduction with business outcomes and socializing tradeoffs with leadership.
  • •Run enterprise architecture assessments across cloud (Azure), identity & access management (Zero Trust, Conditional Access, PAM/PIM), CI/CD and secure software development, and AI/LLM.
  • •Partner with CloudOps and Product Architecture to embed security into enterprise platforms and product roadmaps, defining security reference architectures and patterns.
  • •Design layered enterprise security architectures with defense-in-depth and resilience, ensuring decisions meet regulatory, customer, and audit requirements via reviews and pattern adoption.
  • •Consult on and evaluate Microsoft security tooling and new cloud services, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated before adoption.

Key Requirements

  • •7–10+ years of IT or cybersecurity experience, including at least 3 years in dedicated security architecture.
  • •Relevant industry certifications, e.g., CISSP, Microsoft SC-100, and AZ-500.
  • •Deep technical expertise across cloud (Azure required), identity, network, endpoint, SaaS, and modern enterprise architectures.
  • •Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft security technologies including Defender XDR, Defender for Cloud, and Entra ID/Conditional Access with PIM/PAM.
  • •Experience applying Zero Trust concepts in production and articulating security risks and solutions to engineering and executive stakeholders.
