Job Summary

Senior Pricing Actuary responsible for leading pricing initiatives across Asia, influencing pricing strategy, and developing analytical tools and data sources to support pricing decisions for IPMI and other insurance products in a hybrid Hong Kong/Singapore role.

Key Responsibilities

•Represent pricing with internal and external stakeholders within the Asia region.
•Take a lead role with internal stakeholders, including the BG Executive Leadership Team, to influence and develop new pricing initiatives and support other areas that require pricing input.
•Carry out rate reviews to assess performance of the product suite and make pricing recommendations to the Bupa Global General Managers, the Chief Commercial Actuary and the BG Underwriting and Pricing Committee.
•Build pricing scenario tools to test different pricing strategies.
•Identify, develop and deploy new analytical techniques, tools and data sources, and support team members in making optimal use of these

Key Requirements

•Qualified Actuary (IFoA) with 2-3 years post-qualification experience
•IPMI pricing experience – candidates with pricing and or product experience in other insurance sectors may be considered
•Strong experience with manipulating and using insurance data
•Statistical modelling experience including Generalised Linear Modelling and other advanced analytics methods
•Experience with suitable statistical and analytical tools such as SAS, Earnix, Emblem, Radar and R
