Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead PMC contract administration activities at site, implementing contract management procedures, maintaining correspondence, and ensuring stakeholders understand contractual obligations.
  • •Act as the EPC contract administration focal point, monitoring compliance, reviewing contractor submissions and performance against contractual milestones, and advising on remedies.
  • •Lead commercial assessment of changes, variations, and entitlement, maintaining registers, coordinating evaluations, and monitoring cumulative impacts on project objectives.
  • •Develop and implement project claims management strategy, reviewing notices/claims, coordinating evaluations, preparing entitlement analyses, and supporting negotiations and dispute avoidance.
  • •Provide commercial governance for payments and support commissioning/closeout by reviewing payment applications, validating progress claims, managing warranties/defect correction obligations, and supporting final account negotiations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • •Minimum 15 years of contract management experience on major capital projects.
  • •Minimum 8 years in a senior Contracts Manager, Commercial Manager, or Contract Administration Manager role.
  • •Extensive EPC contract management experience, including familiarity with FIDIC and EPC delivery models such as EPC Lump Sum Turnkey/EPCM.
  • •Direct experience working with Chinese EPC contractors and supply chains, including demonstrated brownfield project experience.
