Job Summary

Serve as a technical bridge during prototype builds, validation, pre-production, SOP, and early ramp-up to ensure launch quality risks are identified, validated, contained, and resolved before customer impact. Investigate complex vehicle issues across powertrain, electrical, thermal, chassis, body, infotainment, and software-enabled functions; reproduce failures, analyze diagnostics and telemetry, and lead structured root-cause work. Partner cross-functionally to improve launch readiness and translate field learnings into corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

•Support vehicle launch activities across prototype builds, validation programs, pilot builds, pre-production, SOP, and production ramp-up; identify launch risks and confirm readiness with partner teams.
•Investigate and diagnose complex vehicle issues across powertrain, electrical, thermal, chassis, body, infotainment, and software-enabled functions, performing hands-on troubleshooting and failure analysis.
•Reproduce issues on customer, fleet, pilot-build, pre-production, or test vehicles; analyze diagnostics, fault codes, service logs, telemetry, and system behavior to determine root cause and support corrective action planning.
•Support containment planning, issue escalation, and rapid-response activities during launch and production ramp-up to mitigate quality risks.
•Manage quality concern lifecycle from identification through closure, including documentation within internal quality systems and driving reliability improvements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
•6+ years of experience in Automotive Field Quality, Product Quality, Reliability Engineering, Warranty Engineering, Diagnostics Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, Vehicle Integration, Service Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
•Strong understanding of vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical, high-voltage systems, thermal systems, chassis, body, infotainment, and software-enabled vehicle functions.
•Hands-on experience performing vehicle investigations, issue replication, diagnostics, validation, and technical problem solving.
•Experience investigating complex vehicle issues and performing structured root cause analysis.
