Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and operate features across tax reporting user experiences, APIs, services, and data workflows.
  • •Translate user and business needs into technical approaches and deliver projects from concept to launch.
  • •Build scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable software with appropriate tests.
  • •Improve tax reporting workflows through automation and operational tooling.
  • •Monitor production systems, respond to incidents, and improve reliability, observability, and runbooks.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience building, testing, and maintaining production software in general-purpose programming languages (Ruby, TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, etc).
  • •Experience delivering software projects from problem definition through launch.
  • •Ability to make technical decisions and communicate tradeoffs using code, design documents, and technical discussions.
  • •Experience debugging and operating production systems.
  • •Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
