Job Summary

Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Sentinel deployments, including data ingestion quality and alignment to security objectives. Build and optimize detection rules, analytics, workbooks, dashboards, and advanced KQL queries for monitoring, hunting, and reporting. Automate triage and response with SOAR playbooks (Logic Apps), lead threat hunting using Sentinel and Defender XDR data, and integrate new log sources while tuning alert performance and documenting runbooks.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Sentinel deployments, including optimal configuration, data ingestion quality, and security objective alignment.
•Create and optimize detection rules, analytics, workbooks, and dashboards for cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
•Develop advanced KQL queries for threat detection, hunting, reporting, and operational efficiency.
•Build and maintain SOAR playbooks using Logic Apps to automate triage, response actions, and workflow orchestration.
•Lead threat hunting, oversee log source onboarding and integration, tune alert performance, and produce documentation and runbooks while collaborating with SOC and security stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
•Extensive hands-on experience administering and engineering Microsoft Sentinel, including custom analytics, automation, and log management.
•Strong KQL skills for complex detection, investigation, and reporting queries.
•Deep understanding of security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response practices, including log source onboarding in Sentinel.
•Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
