Key Responsibilities

  • •Build Core Payment Infrastructure: Design and implement payment processing systems that handle high throughput and strict reliability requirements; Build APIs and SDKs that merchants use to integrate Coinflow into their platforms; Develop fraud detection and risk management features using real-time data analysis
  • •Scale Our Platform: Architect systems for performance, reliability, and observability at scale; Optimize database queries, caching strategies, and service communication patterns; Instrument services for monitoring, alerting, and debugging production issues
  • •Ship Product Features: Work end-to-end on features from technical design through deployment and iteration; Collaborate with Product and Design to translate requirements into elegant technical solutions; Balance speed of delivery with code quality and long-term maintainability
  • •Improve How We Work: Contribute to technical decisions around architecture, tooling, and best practices; Mentor other engineers through code review, pairing, and knowledge sharing; Help shape engineering culture as the team grows
  • •What We're Looking For: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience; Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js; Deep understanding of REST API design, relational and document databases (especially MongoDB), and distributed systems concepts
