Key Responsibilities

•Maintain production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures.
•Perform intermediate operative general labor including heavy lifting and pushing/pulling to support processing operations.
•Carry out skilled tasks involving the use of knives and hooks and working on moving tables or chains.
•Work across departments in the beef processing facility, performing tasks that may include standing, walking, bending, climbing, and reaching.
•Handle work in cold, damp, hot, or humid environments, including slippery walking surfaces and elevated platforms as required by the role.

Key Requirements

•Must have 3 months prior experience in a meat processing facility.
•Willing and able to perform physical requirements, including pushing, lifting, and pulling weights up to 80 lbs.
•Skilled positions require working with knives and hooks and properly wearing required PPE.
•Willing and able to work in hot/cold/humid environments, including standing 8 hours per shift and working on moving tables/chains.
•Must be willing to work either A or B shift at a facility running up to 6 days per week (Monday through Saturday), and provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and pass a urinalysis screening.
