Job Summary

Join an AI team building self-adapting solutions for smart, energy-efficient buildings. You’ll integrate client data to internal standards, deploy energy-efficiency algorithms, and support onboarding and post-deployment handoffs. Work with Python scripts and front-end UI tools alongside deep learning and cloud-based computing to optimize existing HVAC control systems. The role is based in Chennai with a hybrid rhythm (onsite Mon–Thu, flexible Fridays).

Key Responsibilities

•Map clients’ data to BBAI internal standards to support delivery of the BBAI solution.
•Use Python scripts and front-end UI to support digitalization and development of different projects.
•Test and deploy algorithms for projects, then share reports with relevant stakeholders.
•Support project handoff, algorithm deployment, and ensure timely completion of project deployments.
•Understand building HVAC designs, document information, and support updates to configs and control changes; maintain documentation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in building or mechanical engineering, or a technical degree in a related field, with 2 to 3 years of experience in building automation and HVAC control systems.
•In-depth knowledge of building HVAC equipment and familiarity with the range used in buildings.
•Practical experience with DDC (Direct Digital Control), PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), or similar programming in BAS (Building Automation System) and HVAC control.
•Knowledge of building hierarchy and point names/tags, and the ability to work with standardized procedures for building digitalized deployment.
•Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder reporting.
