Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct comprehensive site surveys and validate site conditions (topography, power, and environmental requirements) for fiber-focused designs.
  • •Develop optimized fiber designs and required technical plans to ensure compliance with DoD and industry standards.
  • •Oversee fiber installation crews and coordinate subcontractor deployment of underground or aerial fiber.
  • •Lead testing and acceptance activities for deployed fiber technologies, including DWDM and ROADM systems.
  • •Develop and deliver planning documents such as TNMP, Life-Cycle Plan (LCP), and Acceptance Test Plan in line with ATEC requirements and directives.

Key Requirements

  • •Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.
  • •5+ years of related experience in fiber-focused work supporting relevant programs.
  • •AAS degree (or additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
  • •Ability to work remotely while residing within a 50-mile radius of a major airport.
  • •Knowledge of site surveys/designs and testing plans for fiber technologies such as DWDM and ROADM, meeting DoD/industry standards.
