Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently produce primary LV design elements across project stages, including load schedules, distribution board and switchboard layouts, circuit design, and LV single-line diagrams.
  • •Perform LV calculations (cable sizing, voltage drop, short-circuit fault level, protection coordination, and diversity) and design LV containment systems in coordination with architectural/structural layouts.
  • •Develop emergency power design elements including UPS specifications, generator sizing inputs, ATS/changeover logic, and critical load schedules; interface with ELV power provisions for CCTV, access control, fire alarm panels, and ICT equipment.
  • •Prepare technical deliverables (design reports, specifications, drawings, and equipment schedules) and support LV tender packages and construction-phase activities like site visits, RFI responses, and contractor submittal reviews.
  • •Manage personal workload across concurrent assignments, coordinate interdisciplinary LV interface reviews to resolve clashes, and guide entry-level engineers while supporting QA/self-checks and process improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field.
  • •Solid experience in building services electrical engineering with a focus on LV systems design and independently delivering primary design elements.
  • •Working knowledge of LV design standards and proficiency in LV calculations (cable sizing, voltage drop, fault level, and protection coordination).
  • •Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP for LV electrical documentation and modelling.
