Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the analytics strategy and roadmap — define the vision for how Canary uses data, what we measure, and where we invest in analytics capabilities
  • •Be the company's analytics expert — serve as the authority on our data, metrics, and analytical best practices across all teams
  • •Lead the architecture of our analytics platform in partnership with data engineering, including tooling, data modeling, and warehouse design decisions
  • •Build and own the data pipelines and business analytics that power reporting and decision-making across the organization
  • •Design and maintain dashboards and analyses that give leadership and cross-functional teams clear visibility into business performance

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in a BI, analytics, or analytics engineering role, with a track record of owning an analytics function end-to-end
  • •Excellent SQL skills and deep experience with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
  • •Experience designing and maintaining dashboards in modern BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Metabase)
  • •Strong understanding of data pipeline tooling and ETL/ELT concepts
  • •Proven ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical frameworks and actionable recommendations
