Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure project managers are aware of safety requirements and best practices on site.
  • •Maintain a site-based EHS program, including preparing, implementing, and monitoring the project EHS plan.
  • •Lead safety meetings with Client and Trades and supervise EHS resources, including external competent persons.
  • •Assess and approve contractor safety plans and review High Risk Activities for compliance.
  • •Lead investigations, apply lessons learned, and provide safety guidance to ensure local codes and client safety requirements are met.

Key Requirements

  • •Several years of experience in EHS lead management on large-scale, complex projects.
  • •Demonstrated experience on large-scale projects; data centre experience preferred but not required.
  • •Proficient in project control mechanisms and technical risk assessments.
  • •Strong communication, visualization of issues, and ability to convey information to stakeholders.
  • •Outstanding organization, coordination, and leadership; ability to motivate consultants and contractors; client-facing experience; on-site availability.
