Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain product design and definition data, including bills of materials, drawings, and specifications for vacuum interrupters and insulation.
  • •Collaborate with global suppliers and Supplier Quality Engineers to conduct assessments, capability analysis, and part approvals.
  • •Analyze, document, and resolve product reliability issues with Service, Quality Engineers, Application Engineers, and customers by writing product analysis reports.
  • •Drive product and process improvements using Design for Six Sigma and Lean techniques, performing engineering analysis and digital simulation with tools such as DFSS/LSS, CAD, and FEA.
  • •Coordinate functional and reliability test plans and apply industry standards for design verification and validation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum of three years of engineering experience.

  • •Comfort with Design for Six Sigma and Lean Six Sigma, plus data analysis skills.
