Job Summary

Own the full life-cycle of electrical hardware for Starlink satellites on the Starlink Payload Engineering team. Design and develop high-reliability electronics, run system trades, capture requirements, and oversee schematic/PCB work, prototyping, and hardware bring-up. Collaborate across mechanical, thermal, software, test, supply chain, silicon, and RF/antenna teams to deliver tightly integrated performance—then validate through production support, integration, and on-orbit performance.

Key Responsibilities

•Rapidly develop high-reliability electronics for satellites and spacecraft.
•Drive system trades and lead requirements capture, component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, analysis, prototyping, bring-up, debugging, documentation, manufacturing, test, and on-orbit performance.
•Support hardware through production, satellite integration, and flight.
•Collaborate with engineers from mechanical, thermal, software, test, supply chain, silicon, RF, and antenna to deliver tightly integrated hardware.
•Challenge assumptions and question requirements while learning from mistakes to improve designs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or another STEM discipline.
•5+ years of experience designing/analyzing circuits, electronic products, or hardware.
•Ability to design and implement mixed-signal circuit boards from concept through production.
•3+ years of professional experience testing, troubleshooting, and debugging electronics.
•Strong understanding of computers and programming languages (Python, C/C++).
