Job Summary

Assist clients with originating residential mortgage loans by analyzing needs and advising on suitable home lending options. Prospect and build referral relationships to grow the home lending client base, meet sales/origination goals, and ensure strong loan quality and client satisfaction. Manage the mortgage process from application through closing as the primary client contact, maintain proficiency in origination systems, and stay current on market and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

•Prospect home lending business to build new client loan originations and relationships.
•Originate and process residential mortgage transactions in line with Home Lending process and product guidelines.
•Gather required loan documents and serve as the primary point of contact through the loan process.
•Maintain client satisfaction and loan quality while ensuring sales/originator systems and workflows are efficiently controlled.
•Develop and maintain product knowledge and stay current on real estate market and mortgage industry trends.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 15.5 hourly

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience (preferred).
•3+ years’ experience as a loan officer in first mortgage production (preferred).
•3+ years’ working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and TIL regulations, plus Equal Credit Opportunity Act and RESPA (preferred).
•Ability to provide clients detailed information on mortgage options, interest rates, and terms to support informed decisions.
•Demonstrated sales and service skills including tele-consulting, prospecting, networking, and COI relationship management.
