Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure special education and related services are provided as determined by the IEP team, including communicating with parents and related service staff.
  • •Develop compliant IEPs, progress reports, and other required special education documentation, and facilitate annual IEP meetings.
  • •Use provided resources and follow IEP-specified accommodations and modifications, including assistive technology, supplemental curriculum, and accessible text.
  • •Collect and analyze student data and work samples to monitor progress toward IEP goals; prescribe remediation and enrichment as needed.
  • •Provide synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences, maintain student grade book integrity, prepare students for standardized tests, and support parent/family communication and troubleshooting in a virtual classroom.
