Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the systems and engineering organization through a shift from traditional IT/admin to platform and data engineering.
  • •Own the technical architecture and integrated delivery roadmap for business systems, enterprise data, and integrations.
  • •Manage and grow systems and engineering-track managers and direct reports, including technical mentorship and career pathing.
  • •Establish and codify standards and an operating model (style guides, workflows, ceremonies) leveraging AI and agentic processes.
  • •Drive security, RBAC, and data-governance posture for BADaS platforms, including audit and access-control risk.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in software, platform, or data engineering, including 4+ years managing engineers and engineering managers.
  • •Proven organizational leadership across a multi-manager org, including hiring, career pathing, and succession planning.
  • •Demonstrated ownership of technical architecture and engineering practices (repo management, CI/CD, code review standards, test/regression discipline).
  • •Experience leading technically mixed teams (engineers, data engineers, platform/systems administrators) and raising the technical bar for admin-facing work.
  • •Strong backend and data engineering fluency in server-side JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js and event/service-oriented architectures in AWS serverless environments.
