Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and release harness design solutions in a 3D NX CAD environment, including CAD models and manufacturing drawings/formboards.
  • •Adhere to and improve internal design standards and requirements for harness designs.
  • •Work with responsible engineers to generate electrical schematics for flight and qualification designs.
  • •Perform mechanical and electrical testing of harnessing for thermal, loads, vibration, and shock qualification.
  • •Triage non-conforming interconnect products and drive resolution/preventative actions; develop new tooling and manufacturing methods.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalency) or a bachelor’s degree in engineering (or similar field).
  • •3+ years of professional wire harnessing experience (or experience in a similar environment).
  • •Proficiency with 3D CAD harnessing/routing design and drafting experience with Siemens NX (or similar software).
  • •Experience with electrical/optical harnessing processes and tooling.
  • •Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in a fast-paced environment.
