Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise field crews and coordinate activities during Stage 2–4 archaeological assessments
  • •Enforce health & safety protocols and AECOM procedures on site
  • •Record and communicate field findings and strategies between field and office teams
  • •Manage performance and document discussions with field technicians regarding behavior and output
  • •Take clear and accurate field notes and ensure timely reporting of field data

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma/Certificate + 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • •Valid Applied Research (R) or Professional (P) license issued by the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Multiculturalism (MCM)
  • •Valid Driver's License
  • •Willingness to work out of town within Ontario for extended periods of time
  • •1+ field seasons independently supervising teams during Stage 2–4 archaeological assessments under own issued Research License required
