Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare dishes that meet quality, taste, temperature, and presentation standards, and serve guests at the table.
  • •Follow brand standards for personal hygiene/uniform, and handle telephone calls politely and efficiently.
  • •Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the department, fixtures, and equipment.
  • •Execute shift procedures: check function sheets, confirm duties with the senior chef, prepare mise en place and dishes, take deliveries, clear down the section, and serve guests.
  • •Comply with legal/statutory regulations for a safe working environment and follow wasl DG information security policies, reporting any security breaches to the IT Service Desk.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous experience in a similar role in a 5-star property for at least 1 year.
  • •Fluency in spoken English and excellent communication skills.
  • •College or school diploma preferred (not required).
  • •Knowledge of hotel products and services to support guest service.
  • •Ability to maintain personal appearance, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
