Key Responsibilities

  • •Setup and operate conventional and NC/CNC automatic chucking machines to perform turning, drilling, tapping, boring, reaming, threading, milling, and deburring operations.
  • •Load castings and bar stock, position parts into chucks/fixtures, initiate machining cycles, and remove machined parts to keep continuous production flow.
  • •Adjust, change, and reset tooling to maintain specified dimensions; make adjustments and assist with setups as directed.
  • •Inspect parts using fixed/adjustable gauges and visual checks, and correct discrepancies; ensure parts meet specifications.
  • •Perform TPM/5-S activities and assist with malfunctions, material replenishment, and required recordkeeping (e.g., move tickets, JATs).
