Job Summary

Design, develop, modify, and qualify complex mechanical components and assemblies for plasma diagnostic sensor products used in semiconductor processing. Own the mechanical engineering lifecycle from concept through release and sustaining support, including engineering analyses, design reviews, risk assessments, and change activities. Define and execute test plans, perform root-cause analysis, and troubleshoot technical issues across development, manufacturing, and field operation. Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and suppliers to deliver reliable, manufacturable hardware.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead mechanical design, development, modification, qualification, and release of complex components, assemblies, and subsystems for plasma diagnostic sensor products.
•Drive product development lifecycle ownership: define requirements/standards/processes and continuously improve mechanical engineering processes through release and sustaining support.
•Define, coordinate, and execute engineering test plans; analyze results to support design decisions and recommendations for product release.
•Oversee troubleshooting and resolve complex technical issues during development, qualification, manufacturing, and field operation using structured root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
•Collaborate with systems, plasma, electrical, software, manufacturing, quality, and sourcing teams, including supplier technical engagement and manufacturing readiness activities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
•7–10 years of relevant product development experience in a high-technology engineering environment.
•Strong mechanical design and product development expertise, including 3D CAD modeling and engineering documentation.
•Expertise in GD&T and tolerance analysis, precision machined components/assemblies, and manufacturing processes/DFM.
•Ability to apply engineering testing, qualification/validation, thermodynamics/heat transfer, and structured root-cause analysis.
