Job Summary

Administer anesthesia to routine and emergency surgical patients, including resuscitation support, and manage critically ill ventilated ICU patients. Conduct pre-procedure assessments and reassessments for OPD and admissions, create anesthesia care plans, and monitor patients during sedation and recovery. Provide guidance to nursing staff and other specialists, support controlled-drug documentation, participate in CPR, deliver labour analgesia, and assist the chief anesthesiologist in their absence.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct anesthesia for routine and emergency surgical patients and resuscitate as part of the team.
•Perform assessment and re-assessment for patients in OPD, on admission, and prior to procedures.
•Provide anesthesia using the full range of anesthetic agents and manage critically ill ventilated ICU patients.
•Develop anesthesia care plans, establish rapport with patients, and allay fear and apprehension.
•Monitor patients during sedation and recovery, see patients post-operatively, actively participate in CPR, and provide on-call emergency anesthesia services, including labour analgesia.

Key Requirements

•Graduate from an accredited school of Medicine with an MBBS degree.
•Post graduate degree in Anesthesia (MD Anesthesiology) or equivalent.
•At least three years of experience in anesthesiology.
•Current license in country of origin with Specialist Anesthesiologist DHA license to practice in Dubai, U.A.E.
•Valid ACLS license is a must.
