Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and coordinate assigned projects by establishing schedules, project parameters, and procedures to meet system objectives.
  • •Assist engineering-related activities, including support for engineering programming and material selection for projects.
  • •Support operations budgeting by revising estimates based on validated scope and monitoring cost at completion.
  • •Help prepare subcontractor RFQs, including scope statements, plans and milestones, specs, bonding requirements, and schedule of values.
  • •Communicate with contractors, subcontractors, and owners regarding scope, budgets, performance, issues, and close-out needs.

Key Requirements

  • •Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the internship, having completed at least sophomore/2nd year before start.
  • •Preferred degree in Construction Engineering, Building Management, Construction Management, HVAC, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods through coursework, projects, groups, or related experience/volunteering.
  • •Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and be able to provide proof of insurance, with no major/frequent traffic violations (including specified examples) in the prior 3 years.
