Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in providing a comprehensive pharmacy service that meets service users’ needs.
  • •Dispense and check outpatient prescriptions, ensuring appropriate checking procedures are followed.
  • •Participate in patient counselling and department counter service as appropriate.
  • •Manage stock, including storage, rotation, expiry checking, and supporting the stock distribution function.
  • •Maintain prescription documentation and ensure charges are posted appropriately in line with requirements.

  • •Hold NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy services or B/Tec Pharmaceutical sciences.

  • •Ensure processes follow relevant legislation and SOP standards.
