Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and maintain engineering standards, reference architectures, and technical governance for modernization initiatives.
  • •Lead AI adoption by establishing AI engineering standards, guardrails, and measurable outcomes for AI-assisted development practices.
  • •Drive enterprise API architecture and governance, including standards for REST, GraphQL, event streaming, and secure, resilient integration architectures.
  • •Lead legacy modernization by defining migration strategies from monoliths to service-based, cloud-native solutions and adopting DevSecOps/CI/CD and platform engineering practices.
  • •Mentor and coach engineers and architects through workshops, design reviews, and communities of practice to build capability across teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field (master’s preferred).
  • •15+ years of software engineering experience.
  • •5+ years in a Principal Engineer, Distinguished Engineer, Chief Architect, or similar senior technical leadership role.
  • •Proven experience leading large-scale architecture and modernization initiatives, including API architecture and microservices.
  • •Deep expertise in API architecture, microservices, domain-driven design, event-driven systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), DevSecOps, and CI/CD.
