Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership for database administration across core mainframe DB2 environments to ensure availability, security, and performance.
  • •Design, implement, and support complex DB2 configurations, system migrations, disaster recovery plans, and resiliency frameworks.
  • •Collaborate with application teams on query tuning, workload optimization, and database design reviews using performance monitoring tools.
  • •Drive data protection and security initiatives, including managing Pervasive Encryption and dataset security standards for DB2.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 179,400 - 204,700 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
  • •At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • •At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or virtualization technologies.
  • •At least 4 years of experience with IBM DB2 on mainframe platforms.
