Job Summary

Develop and port Zephyr-based applications to accelerate IoT connectivity workflows. Implement Cloud use-cases such as provisioning and data upload/download secured with HTTP/TLS/TCP, then define and run benchmarks to compare development time, code reuse, and test impact across selected Zephyr-capable hardware. Work in Philips Engineering Solutions’ Electronic Systems & IoT connectivity group in Eindhoven and demonstrate your own Zephyr build during interviews.

Key Responsibilities

•Implement/port existing Cloud use-cases (provisioning, data upload/download, FOTA) on Zephyr-capable hardware using HTTP/TLS/TCP.
•Define the benchmark use-cases, initial Zephyr-capable hardware setup, and the set of Zephyr-capable boards to be used.
•Implement the Cloud use-case components, including data upload/download over TLS and provisioning.
•Define benchmark metrics (development time, code reuse, and test impact).
•Port the code to the selected boards and run benchmarking to identify maturity and opportunities to accelerate IoT implementations with Zephyr.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 500 - 700 monthly

Key Requirements

•Studying towards your Master in Electrical Engineering, Software, Embedded Systems Engineering, or a related field.
•Familiar with programming on embedded devices.
•Motivated to develop applications with Zephyr.

•Fluent in English and able to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
